Gunslinger Spawn (2021–Present): Todd McFarlane's Wild West Hellspawn
A preacher from the Old West, a deal with a demon and a pair of hellfire six-shooters, all dropped into the modern day. Here's our guide to the Spawn Universe's gunfighter.
After Spawn reached its record-breaking #300, Todd McFarlane did something he had held off on for decades: he built out a whole Spawn Universe of new monthly titles. Gunslinger Spawn, launched in October 2021 with artist Brett Booth, was the second of them, and its first issue became one of the biggest new superhero launches in a generation.
We stock a long run of Gunslinger Spawn at Siomic Comics, including many of the 2024 and 2025 issues and the #50 crossover. Here's our guide to the character, the creators and the key issues.

Who is the Gunslinger?
Long before Al Simmons, Hell was making Spawns across history. Jeremy Winston was a preacher in the American West who lost his family and, driven by vengeance, made a deal with the demon Mammon. He became a Hellspawn armed with six-shooters, a cowboy hat and a long coat, and he turned up in the pages of Spawn for years before getting his own book.
Gunslinger Spawn picks up straight after Spawn's Universe #1 and drops this 19th-century gunfighter into the present day, where he has to deal with modern cities, new allies and enemies from his own past.
