However, my droids here in the Nerve Centre know of no such concept – not for them a trip to sunnier climes, for they are tpp busy toiling away on the ghafflebette stories that appear each week in my Mighty Organ. But it did make me ponder whether the characters would take a break – what would they do, where would they go, and what interesting souvenirs would they pick up along the way? So this special is themed around vacations – Dan Abnett & Mark Harrison reunite on The Out, Karl Stock teams up with Jake Lynch on a one-off Strontium Dog tale, Ian Edginton & D’Isreaeli collaborate on Ampney Crucis Investigates…, there’s a complete Future Shock from Andi Ewington & Nick Dyer, and Dredd is drawn back to the Costa Del Meg for a follow-up to the story from the 1989 Judge Dredd annual, courtesy of Al Eqing & Dan Cornwell.
