Dangerous places, worlds that have no place for him. And when his path leads him to Fred, a grizzled soldier who travels between worlds, and Zhue, a mysterious person sent back from 5,000 years in the future, he discovers events far greater than his next book are at stake. Zhue and Fred are on the trail of John Cho, a man who is destroying entire worlds, and who killed Fred’s last team. And with no way home, Tim must join them on a deadly pursuit through realities and time, or risk losing his entire world.
