Description: Project Sword is a 48 page full colour graphic novel, based on a Gerry Anderson TV show which never was! Set against the apocalyptic backdrop of 3031, Project SWORD envisions a world reshaped by a catastrophic meteorite strike that has burrowed deep into the Earth’s core. Instead of total annihilation, the impact triggered a slow, destabilising collapse: vast territories are swallowed by rising tides, and relentless volcanic activity ravages the surface. Amidst this frightening new reality, the survival of the human race rests solely with the Space World Organisation for Research and Development, better known as Project SWORD. Project SWORD was originally conceived in the 1960s during one of the most inventive periods in British popular culture, but despite toys being released the planned show was never produced. Now, from Time Bomb Comics with the full approval of Anderson Entertainment and Gerry Anderson’s son Jamie, Project SWORD returns! Written by Lizbeth Myles with artwork and letters by James Gray, Project Sword captures the unique and familiar Gerry Anderson tone and style, but with a modern twist that will appeal to a new audience as well as those already familiar with it.
